➣ Fix Loose or Damaged Cables

➣ Initiate A Power Cycle

Along with that, make sure to perform a Power Cycle on your Computer and the Printer. This will restore the Settings of your Devices and resolve the HP Printer Offline issue. 

➣ Restore The Network Connection

Problems in your Internet Network is another reason responsible for this issue. As such, make sure that your Network Connection is functioning perfectly well. For this, begin by checking the Network Settings on your System. Power Cycle your Modem and Router. Go through the troubleshooting procedures to restore your Network. 

➣ Set It As Your Default Printer

  1. In the very first place, go to the Control Panel of your Computer. 
  2. Here, you will find a list of options. As such, click on the  “Hardware and Sound”. 
  3. Now, select “Devices and Printer”.
  4. On the following window, a list of Printers linked to the same Network will appear. Here, you must select your HP Printer.
  5. Then, right-click on it. 
  6. Thereafter, click on the “Devices and Printer” tab.

➣ Restore Printer Settings

  1. In the very first place, go to the Control Panel of your Computer. 
  2. Here, you will find a list of options. As such, click on the  “Hardware and Sound”. 
  3. Now, select “Devices and Printer”.
  4. On the following window, a list of Printers linked to the same Network will appear. Here, you must select your HP Printer.
  5. Then, right-click on it. 
  6. Thereafter, select “See What’s Printing”.
  7. Here, you must ensure that there are no unfinished Print Jobs. 
  8. In case if you find any of the same. Then, clear it. For this, right-click on such Print Jobs one-by-one. Thereafter, click on “Remove”.
  9. After that, go back “Devices and Printer”.
  10. Then, right-click on the HP Printer. 
  11. Look for “Use Printer Offline”. Make sure it is deselected.
