  • First and foremost, download the printer driver software of your printer from the official website.

* Push Button Method 

  1. First of all, to connect your printer using WPS, you must have a wireless HP Printer that supports WPS Push-button mode. Along with that, a router with a WPS button and a wireless network that uses a WPA password.

  3. In case, if you have a printer with a touchscreen control panel, follow the below-given steps:

* PIN Method 

  • First of all, on the main screen of the printer, you have to tap on the “Wireless” icon.
  • In the next screen, select the “Settings” option. 
  • Now, from the Settings screen, tap on the “Wireless Settings” option. 
  • In the next window that appears you must select the “PIN” option. 
  • By doing so, you will get the PIN on your printer for 90 seconds. You have to enter the PIN within this time period, to avoid it getting invalid. 

You can also find this PIN on an information sheet that automatically prints through your printer. If you are not able to enter the PIN in the given time period, you have to go through the printer setup process again to generate a new PIN. Make sure that you are entering the correct PIN, otherwise, it won’t be able to connect to your network. 

  • Then, access the configuration utility or the software for the wireless access point or wireless router.
  • Thereafter, enter your Wireless PIN in the required field.

  • In the next window, select the “Network Setup” option.

  • As a result, the printer searches for the available networks within its range. 
  • After searching for all the available networks within the range choose your network name from that. Then, tap on the “Ok” tab.

* USB Setup Of Wireless

  • For USB Setup of Wireless printer, you have to connect a USB cable between the computer and the printer.
